"Carried to the Table"

I was shattered by the fall
Broken and forgotten
Feeling lost and all alone
Summoned by the King
Into the Master's courts
Lifted by the Savior
And cradled in His arms

Seated where I don't belong

Fighting thoughts of fear
And wondering why He called my name
Am I good enough to share this cup
This world has left me lame
Even in my weakness
The Savior called my name
In His Holy presence
I'm healed and unashamed

As I'm carried to the table
Seated where I don't belong

And I don't see my brokenness anymore

Before the morning

Do you wonder why you have to, feel the things that hurt you

If there's a God who loves you, where is He now?

Or maybe there are things you can't see

And all those things are happening

To bring a better ending, someday some how you'll see, you'll see!

Would you dare, would you dare to believe

That you still have a reason to sing! 'Cause the pain that you've been feeling

can't compare to the joy that's coming!

So hold on you got to wait for the light, press on

and just fight the good fight!

'Cause the pain that you've been feeling,

It's just the dark before the morning!

Once you feel the weight of glory

all your pain will fade to memory

And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed!!

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

He was pierced for our transgressions…He was crushed for our sins...The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him…And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed!!
